Fresh Buffalo Milk – From Our Own Happy Herd

Proper milk – rich, creamy and produced right here at The Buffalo Farm.

Our fresh buffalo milk comes from our own herd of grass-fed water buffalo here at Boglily. We gently pasteurise the milk in small batches, helping to preserve its natural taste and quality.

Our milk is not homogenised, so you'll see that wonderfully rich cream naturally rise to the top – just as milk should! Give your milk a really good shake before pouring to mix all that delicious cream back through.

What Makes Buffalo Milk So Special?

Proper buffalo milk is beautifully creamy, comforting and naturally indulgent. It has a rich, buttery taste that can rival Jersey milk for creaminess and makes everyday milk feel like a bit of a treat.

Buffalo milk is naturally higher in protein than cow's milk, with approximately 10% more protein, and is also naturally rich in calcium and other nutrients.

It is higher in fat and calories than standard cow's milk – around 100 kcal per 100ml compared with approximately 40–65 kcal for many cow's milks, depending on the type – and that's exactly what gives buffalo milk its distinctive creamy texture, richness and satisfying taste.

It's fantastic simply poured into a glass, over cereal, in your morning coffee, blended into milkshakes or used in cooking and baking where you want an extra touch of richness.
