Delicious & Juicy Sirloin Roast

Difficulty - not too tricky


  • Sirloin Roast 1-2kg
  • Vegetable stock
  • 4 celery sticks
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 onion (medium)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • ½ Glass dry white wine
  • Rosemary, Sage, Bay-leaf, oregano
  • 8 cloves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp sodium bicarbonate


  1. Rub the roast with olive oil
  2. Cut the vegetables into small cubes and gently fry them in olive oil, season with salt and pepper
  3. Seal all sides of the meat and add white wine, simmer until reduced
  4. Put the cloves into the roast and add the herbs (rosemary, sage, bay-leaf and oregano) before adding part of the vegetable stock
  5. Allow meat to cook in oven for 45minutes at 190℃, add more stock if needed
  6. Slice the roast and gently simmer the meat with the juices and vegetables for 1minute
  7. Serve with Roast potato and ENJOY!

TIP: Put a small dish of water at the bottom of your oven to keep your roast moist during cooking
