Terms & Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions apply to orders placed through The Buffalo Farm website. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer protection laws.
1. About Us
We are The Buffalo Farm. These terms apply to orders placed through our website: www.thebuffalofarm.co.uk.
2. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed when we confirm that your order is ready for collection, or when we dispatch your order for delivery.
All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary. If this happens and payment has already been taken, we will refund you in full.
3. Products
We sell fresh food products, including meat, cheese and other chilled or perishable items.
We do not substitute products without speaking to you first. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to offer an alternative or refund.
We aim to ensure product images represent what you will receive, however slight variations may occur due to the nature of fresh produce.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
Payment is taken at the time of order using secure third-party providers.
5. Payment Details and Saved Cards
We do not store your full card details.
If a saved card appears at checkout, this is provided by your browser, your device, or a third-party service such as Link, and is not controlled by us.
6. Delivery and Collection
We offer:
- Click & Collect from our farm shop
- Local delivery using our own vans
- Courier delivery (once weekly, 1–2 day service)
Orders can be placed up to 10 days in advance.

Local Delivery
If you request your order to be left in a safe place, delivery is considered complete once left and is at your own risk.

7. Responsibility for Goods
Responsibility passes to you on collection or delivery (including safe place delivery).
8. Perishable Goods

No. We do not store your full card details.
Why does my card appear at checkout?
Your browser, phone, or a secure service such as Link may have saved your card previously.
If you have chosen to save your card on another website, your device may offer it automatically when it recognises a checkout form.
This happens independently of our website — we do not store or control this information.
What is Link?
Link is a secure payment service that allows customers to save card details for faster checkout across many websites.
If you have used Link before and saved your details, it may appear during checkout.
Your details are stored securely by Link and are not accessible to us.
How do I remove a saved card?
Saved cards must be removed from the place they were originally stored.
Browser or device autofill:
- Check your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Edge)
- Or your device settings (iPhone, Android)
Link (Stripe):
- Visit https://link.com
- Log in using your email

If Link appears at checkout, it may also provide options to manage your saved details directly.

Is this secure?
Yes. Saved cards are encrypted and managed securely by your browser or payment provider.
We never store or access your full card details.
